Joy D. Ingram
Joy D. Ingram is an innovative advocate, educator, and community leader whose work bridges the gap between survivor empowerment, public health equity, and community education. With over a decade of experience in advocacy, wellness, and trauma-informed care, she brings powerful perspectives, insights, skills and resources to the work of providing quality care to clients, staff, and the overall communities served by nonprofit agencies.
Joy’s journey began with a deep commitment to helping survivors of domestic and sexual violence find healing and strength. As a survivor and former staff at an agency that helped victims of domestic and sexual violence, Joy worked to and Joy advance the wellbeing of women, families, and communities through education, outreach, and leadership. Now, as the founder of Love and Joy Consulting, she seeks to take the wisdom she has gained and work with different nonprofits to help them with specific pain points and to ensure the the agency and those they help can thrive.
